Introduction | I read. A lot. One day, after almost being crushed by my to-read pile, I decided to use my huge stock of books and swift reading powers for good. I have other things going on in my life including a writing career of my own and another active blog, so I don't want this one to take over my life. The title for it just kind of popped out. But trust me- there's nothing halfhearted about the way I read. |
Interests | In my spare time, my fellow artists in crime plot ways to fortify our armed artist's compound in the Deep South. |
Favorite Movies | Disaster movies, especially zombies and apocalypse; A zombie apocalypse is orgasmic; Royal Tenenbaums; Matilda; anything John Hughes; Matrix(es?); ah, hell, can't think of anything; see the 'books' section. |
Favorite Music | Guster; Angus and Julia Stone; The Black Ghosts; Duquette Johnson; Black Rebel Motorcycle Club; Fleet Foxes; Calexico; The Kinks; The Verve; Thom Yorke; Pete Bjorn; Neko Case; Radiohead; MGMT; Grace Potter and the Nocturnals; Sam Cooke; BMX Linx; Death Cab for Cutie; The Shins; Meiko...can't list it all; damn these little boxes. |
Favorite Books | I'm into Indie authors lately, but I also like: The Time Traveler's Wife; The Graveyard Book; American Gods; anything Amanda Hocking and Colleen Houck; the Fever series (Moning); anything by Maggie Steifvater; Stranger in a Strange Land; Mirror of her Dreams and A Man Rides Through; Kindred; Interpreter of Maladies; are they serious with these lists?; there's no way; I read like a junkie and books are my heroin. |
