| Introduction | I am one of five billion or so beloved children of God on a journey of discovery. A journey that is taking me further into my own heart, helping me discover the unconditional love God has created and made a part of me. My journey is following the path of Jesus the Christ. Yes, I count myself a Christian. Particularly, I am a member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) -- known for its ecumenism and interfaith efforts. I have been called to provide spiritual support by way of listening to and companioning caregivers along their paths of service to others especially to those living with dementia. The call on my heart also brings me to those living with dementia as they face their fears of losing themselves and losing God. I have been asked to provide nurture and support to those folks as they make this journey into a place where none of us can go -- yet God is there. Our journeys are not that different. Yet, they are. Each journey is individual and specific to our needs, the way we were brought up, the struggles we endure. My hope is that in reading about my journey, there might be some way that God speaks to you through these words. |

Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?
Flexibility is more important. I don't need anything else in my life. I would rather have the grace to be flexible!
