Introduction	Born and raised in southern Illinois as a small town girl that cherishes my roots. Professionally a social worker but my heart longs for a more simple country life that includes the self-reliance arts (but I want electricity and running water).
Interests	Gosh, everything has potential to pique my interest. I hope to explore more of these in my blog.
Favorite Movies	The Whale Rider, many of the older black and white classics, African Queen, anything with Cary Grant and Kathryn Hepburn, Spencer Tracy, Jimmy Stewart, etc.
Favorite Music	Classical (not the modernistic new classics such as John Adams), classic rock, very light R&B - Music that doesn't make me feel stressed out to listen to it
Favorite Books	Oh my - way too many to list but lately prefer true crime novels
