Introduction	I lost my daughter-in-law three years ago. She was kidnapped in broad daylight by a complete stranger from her home. She was brutally raped and beaten, and then shot in the head. The murderer tossed her into a shallow grave as if she were disposable. The murderer has been convicted and was sentenced to death. We are now just beginning the appeals process. It's been quite a journey. I hope this blog helps you on journey. If you are a homicide survivor, always remember, you are not going insane, it is the situation that is insane.
