| Introduction | St. Luke's Church was built in 1920s by the Church Missionary Society who had come to Kenya to proselytize the gospel and officially began in 1926. It is located in Kitale Town, Trans Nzoia County opposite the District Commissioner's Office and Trans Nzoia District Hospital. For close to 9 decades, the church has served the faithfuls in Kitale Town and its environs and with the ever-growing population, there is need for a new beginning - a new sanctuary to cater for 3,000 worshipers in tandem with our motto "Sailing into deeper waters." |
