|Introduction||My mother helped me make my first sewing project when I was 7. I have loved sewing ever since. Art has been in my life since I was 8 years old. A boy in my 3rd grade class was doodling and I watched. After a few minutes, I thought - I can do THAT! And I've been doing it ever since! Quilting was introduced to me when I was 9. My 4th grade teacher had our class make a quilt project. We each made a 9-patch quilt block, then we helped Miss. Roberson sew it together. We tied it with yarn and gave it to someone in need. I have since learned to crochet and knit. I added tatting a couple of years ago. I don't think there is anything you can do with thread that I don't enjoy. This baby blanket and bunny are one of my favorite projects - I love inventing fun toys like Blue Bunny in his necktie (stitched on to be baby safe).|

You have to dig a hole to China. Where do you start?
Where I'm standing. I have started several times, usually with a spoon. Haven't started in a long time, though.
