Introduction	Just a kid trying to be a grown up and survive grad school, fearing the real world, and of course working on the next great American novel...er...make that screenplay...eventually I'll pick up and move to LA, and hopefully I'll eventually figure out what I want to be when I grow up...in the meantime I'll just play my old Zeppelin and Pink Floyd records, and wax philosophical about the nature of all things pop culture.

Favorite movies	Casablanca, Say Anything, all John Hughes and Cameron Crowe films....I'll watch anything, I'll even find SOMETHING to like in almost everything, but count me out on the slasher-porn horror flicks...
Favorite music	Everything -- to an extent, most especially mid-90's alternative rock, Pearl Jam and the likes, 80's punk, new wave, etc. and you can never go wrong with classic rock...
Favorite books	On The Road, Hell's Angels, Rum Diary, all the Gonzo stuff, most Kerouac, Burroughs, Kesey, and Wolfe...I'll read most anything, trashy crime thrillers, true crime, history, current events, graphic novels, young adult fiction, literary fiction...you name it, I'll give it a shot...
