| Introduction | Björn Bernt was born in Erlangen, Germany on April 1st, 1980. After internships at movie and theater productions and a carpenter, he started studying Industrial Design at the University of Fine Arts, Berlin in 2002, and additionally at the College of Fine Arts, Berlin-Weissensee in 2005. He has contributed to several exhibitions such as „Senior_Lifstyle“ at the Tendenz 2004, „designmai_youngsters-berlin“, „designmai_youngsters-brussels“ 2005 and „Future_made_in_Solingen“ 2006. In 2006, he moved to Milan for a one year internship at SowdenDesign. In 2008 he obtained his practical diploma, and his newest ceramic pieces were shown at the exhibition "Schöner Wohnen" the very same year. A year later, he exhibited at "DMY - The Sky is not the Limit". Since October 2009 he is studying to be awarded the grade of "Meisterschüler" at College of Fine Arts, Berlin-Weissensee. In 2010, his work was part of two exhibitions promoting his and his collaborators’ designs at "deutsche guggenheim berlin" and at "galerie europa".
