| Introduction | My name is Susan Rodrigues and I am an accountant who has worked in the Kenyan corporate world for over 29 years. A few years ago I started a small business selling promotional items to companies, but rough economic times saw business steadily fall especially in 2008. It was while I was contemplating what action to take to improve business that I read an article in November 2008 in the business section of The Daily Nation that a Swedish Cosmetic Giant - Oriflame - was making an entry into the Kenyan market. They would be distributing products through a network of independent consultants. I decided to find out more about the company, network marketing and why it was being stated that this was the best way to do business anywhere in the world!
