| Introduction | Professionally I am a teacher in an intermediate school, fifth through eighth grade. I teach Quest Atlantis to fifth and sixth grade students as an "explore" class. Seventh grade students take a computer applications class with me; the focus this year is creating infographics and a new story podcast. The eighth grade elective I teach is "Global Computing" in which students create a blog on a global issue, presenting the facts, and opposing points of view.
Personally I love to spend time with family and friends, travel, cook, read,and dabble in photography. Some of my favorite vacations have been road trips where we diverted from our plans. My Flickr photographs represent a few of these side trips. "Don't skip the side trips. They can become the most important moments in your journey through life."
