Introduction | Married 2nd time around, 3 wonderful grown kids, 1 stepdaughter trying to bust out of college, 4 grandchildren. I have a variety of interest such that I often bounce from one endeavor to the next -- not finishing the previous. First wife: I had a closet full of forgotten hobbies. (Not forgotten my dear, just set aside for now.) My Mom always called me restless. Nowadays I'm sure there is some pop-medical name for it.. I wish there were more hours in the day just to read,or listen to my classical music.. but alas, it's always catch-up time. |
Interests | Learning more about wines, Computer graphics, cooking, great bistros, Civil War, fishing & travel. I love classy cocktail lounges. |
Favorite Movies | "Sleepless in Seattle", "You've Got Mail", "Two Weeks' Notice", "Christmas Vacation", "A Christmas Carol", "Grumpy Old Men", "The Hunt for Red October", "The Day of the Jackal", "Amadeus", "Double Indemnity", "American President" |
Favorite Music | Classical (Baroque is best). Beach Boys and the early 60's groups, The standards as sung by the classic singers and the new. (Steve Tyrell). I like small jazz trio sounds, like a cocktail lounge from Oscar Peterson, Ralph Sharon, Beegee Adair. |
Favorite Books | Again tomany interests so little down time. Political, Medical Drama, Cooking! |
Which do you prefer and why: whittling with soap or whistling with wood?
I have a great wooden train whistle.. so definitely the whistle!
