| Introduction | I am a northwesterner living everywhere but the NW. It is a long story on how our family arrived here. I am a homemaker/mom to 5 wonderful girls. So, we have a lot of talk and hormones floating around. I have been married to Nathan since 1993. Wow, I am starting to have more memories with him in it than without. I enjoy music and thank my mom for that. |
| Interests | I enjoy reading, researching on the Internet, and in general keeping myself educated, just not in an academic setting, raising my kids to be good people. |
| Favorite movies | I don't really have any, we tend to watch older movies on AMC or other stations. |
| Favorite music | There is so much out there, so maybe I should tell you what I don't like: rap (singing, yeah right!) and music that I can't understand the words unless I have the lyrics right in front of me, music that has heavy electric guitar. |
| Favorite books | Lately, I have been reading fantasy books. Namely, the Lost Years of Merlin saga by T.A. Barron, The Hobbit by Tolkien, Dragon Lance Chronicles by Weis and Hickman. The last series on the recommendation of Nathan. To keep up with my daughters, I have also read the Spiderwick Chronicles by ? (recently released as a movie) and the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. Prince Caspian is coming out as a movie, so I have convinced Rachel and Sara to read it, if they want to see it. I have also enjoyed reading the Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables. |
