| Introduction | After graduating from Ohio State in 1984 I finally settled down and begin my professional career with Burke Marketing in Cincinnati Ohio. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there but the big city, the traffic, the commute time, parking, etc were far less to my liking. By the summer of 1987 I had accepted a position as Sales Manager for Rentacomputer.com. As you might guess a nationwide computer rental firm and it's based right in my home town. The move from marketing to sales was of course a natural and what’s not to like about a 5 minute drive to work. Twenty years later I find myself still with Rentacomputer.com and in a much nicer office. The sign on my desk reads “Vice President” and it takes about 10 minutes to get to work now. A lot has changed in those 20 years with computers, the company and my job. Our CEO would be glad to read that one of the changes I have really enjoyed has been the chance to help out with our Computer Rental Blog. P.S The Blog push for the month is Laptop Rentals. |
