IntroductionI am a Christian woman of a certain age struggling to live my faith. My practice is to sit (almost) daily with my Bible, read a section or sections and listen for the call of the Holy Spirit. I write one or two verses that stand out in my journal, where I then write a meditation on the Word, and a short prayer. My hope is that my reflections will resonate in some way with my readers and to that end I encourage you reading this to take what works for you and leave the rest here. I am a Christian and therefore aware of my essentially flawed nature, and my utter dependence on God (thought I forget that at times.) My prayer is that somehow God's truth may be glimpsed through my own strange and murky meanderings through God's Word and my daily struggle to live into God's Call. I invite Christians and followers of other faiths alike to respond to my witness, and look forward to a spirit-filled dialogue.
