Introduction	Growing up in the South, I took for granted the kindness and gentleness of the people down here, the beauty of the land, and the delight of a good southern drawl. I moved away for a bit and realized not every place is like that so I came right on back home. While I was away I used to watch Paula Deen on TV because she reminded me of all those sweet crazy southern church women I so dearly loved. When I was a little girl I wanted to grow up to be just like Julia Sugarbaker on Designing Women. There are tons of other things I love about the south or just love period so I thought I would start a blog to share them all with you. Whether you were born in the south, or not, I hope you’ll enjoy them.
