| Introduction | I live a happy life in Green Gables country with my sweet hubby who is a retired pastor. We have three wonderful sons and five darling grandchildren. I love being a home maker and I thrive on bringing beauty and comfort into my home for my family and friends to enjoy. | Interests | Music, bird watching, nesting, photography, psychology, reading, writing, and collecting tea things and transferware. I also collect rocks from around the world. I love spending time with my family and I adore gardens, nature, and all things beautiful. Taking long walks along the beach or through the woods is one of my favourite things to do. |
| Favorite Movies | Most Christmas movies, Miss Potter, Anne of Green Gables, Hallmark movies, The Notebook, Chronicles of Narnia, TV series Downton Abbey, Jesus of Nazareth, and Fireproof. I enjoy the edited version of some of these movies. If a movie isn't edited, I tend not to watch it. |
| Favorite Music | Various Christian, Gospel, & worship music; Michael W. Smith, Matt Redman, Robin Mark, Casting Crowns, Mercy me, etc. I love all Christmas music, smooth jazz, the Bee Gees; especially their love ballads, instrumental/classical, and movie scores. |
| Favorite Books | Bible & anything by Francine Rivers, Karen Kingsbury, and Jan Karon. Heaven by Randy Alcorn, Fresh Wind-Fresh Fire, Hinds Feet on High Places, Christmas Carol Kauffman, Tea Shop Mysteries by Laura Childs, the Murder She Baked stories by Joanne Fluke. Tea books and lovely magazines. I also enjoy the Anne of Green Gables books, Little House on the Prairie, biographies and mysteries. I enjoy getting lost in a good book; be it a love story, a mystery, or an autobiography. |
