| Introduction | I am along time fan thru Julie's work for Birdwatchers' Digest, even before they had you, Phoebe, and were just making Indigo Hill their dream come true. Then I met BTIII who had such patience with us beginners at NRWF. Meant to meet my heroes, your grandparents, there but alas it was the year of the IvoryBIlled WP. and duty called them to redo the latest issue of BWD. But it was the first time I did hear your parents make music together: a consolation at the closing dinner. My next time at WVWF I met you, Liam and Chet Baker--and Connie Toops, another hero of mine. So you see, I have been with you close by this past year with admiration and sadness. And why I am so grateful for your blog. As you must realize by now,like your Mom and BTIII, you write most beautifully and for all of us to understand the beauties of this Earth. |
