| Introduction | I am 46 and a proud mom. I enjoy waking up to my two Dachshunds in the morning. They sit on the floor waiting for me to roll out of bed. Makes me wish I had a baby to greet with a smile every morning. My kids are all in their twenties. Wow, did I just say that? I'm okay... breathe! I am married. Going on 28 years. I enjoy the simple things in life. My old tennis shoes and jeans. Sliced apples with peanut butter. Always finding a way to reuse something. I think I save everything. I do enjoy giving stuff away though. Every time I open my garage my neighbor across the street yells "are ya havin' a garage sale?" I say "nope not yet." With a big smile! I love collecting old toys, dolls & antique hats. If it causes me to place my hand on my heart and it puts a smile on my face then it goes home with me! Life to me is about prayer and living for the Lord, always try to laugh, show love towards others, give a hug when you can, put a smile on a Child's face and let them know they're loved. Eat right, drink lots of water and get your rest. Now that I'm older I understand what it truly means... "take time and smell the roses." :) |
