| Introduction | New to blogging, I suppose the content here will be a cornucopia of the life and times of one woman, who to many means nothing, but to some, means everything..it's those "some" that make my life blessed in so many ways. I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Disabled due to a spinal injury and the list of health issues brought on by the injury. (FMS, OA, RA..list goes on) I refuse to be defined by my disabilities, and though there are times when I feel like giving up..I try very hard to keep a positive outlook, learning to play the hand I've been dealt in this lifetime. So..like I said, I'm new to this..so bear with me. |
| Interests | I am definitely a gadget girl..my laptop, HD tv, my ipod and pda..all things digital..tho I'm no expert in any certain one. Listening to a good book on CD, quilts that tell a story, the sound and smell of a nice summer rain, fresh cut grass and a roast in the oven. I love trash to treasure, puppy breath and the sound of the crickets at night. The sound of children playing, an old porch swing that dangled many a childs toes, a cool breeze and a kiss (from my wonderful husband) that takes my breath away. My interests are wide and varied..and everything in between. |
| Favorite movies | You can't go wrong with a good western, I'm a chick, so a good chick flick is a must..Comedies to make me laugh when I'm down, A drama that touches my soul..and with loved ones who have served in Viet Nam, I'm always up for a good war movie. |
| Favorite music | Definitely classic rock..with country a really close second. Throw in some R&B and good jazz..and I'm a happy camper! |
| Favorite books | Migraines have put a damper on my reading, but a solution is a good book on CD. I absolutely love the Mitford Series by Jan Karon..and I also love a good mystery or anything by Patricia Cornwell or Sue Grafton. |
For your birthday, your aunt gave you a maple syrup dispenser shaped like a rooster. Please write her a thank-you note:
Dear Auntie... ""THANK YOU""" Love, Me
