| Introduction | I was currently in my P1 year of Pharmacy School at ISU. My friend Ashley and I decided to go on a Medical Humanitarian Service Mission with a group called Idaho Condor over our spring break in Peru, which was the end of March. I didn't know Ryan except for a Hi here and a Hi there, but little did I know I would soon get to really know my Prince Charming. Ryan was one of the founders of Idaho Condor and was in charge of the Medical Mission and he needed some pharmacists to run his pharmacy in the villages so Ashley and I went. Ryan made us Spanish cheat sheets but once we spoke an ounce of Spanish they thought we were fluent, so Spanish Translator aka Ryan would come over and rescue the desperate pharmacists. As the week went on I became drawn to this man who loved to serve others around him, had the most amazing leadership qualities, and could make anyone smile. Soon the trip came to an end, I decided I wanted this man in my life for good. So as we were leaving the SLC airport I asked Ryan, "So do you want my number or what?" He got my number and every night was spent together. I never thought I would be the girl to fall in love with someone in a month but I'm glad it happened. |
