Introduction	Currently living in Saskatoon (email at RBF55@msn.com for address). From 1977-88, I used to publish a print version of a music magazine in New York called FFanzeen, which dealt with the wide-ranging independent music scene. I also photographed many bands from the period (and since). Now I write this blog. And the beat goes on.
Interests	Music, Photography, General Media, Media Ecology
Favorite movies	The Producers (1968), first 5 Marx Bros, The Haunting (1963), and many others
Favorite music	Very wide ranging: punk, rock, folk, singer-songwriter, Americana, Canadiana, independent musicians. What I do not listen to is whatever is probably what is on the radio.
Favorite books	From Neil Postman to Leon Uris, and much in between. I vary between non-fiction and fiction. Presently, I enjoy books about music history (e.g., "The Encyclopedia of Punk Music and Culture" by Brian Cogan, "Please Kill Me")
