| Introduction | I'm a married 40-something mother of 4, yes I drive a mini-van but I also have funky hair and a nose piercing which I did not get when I was young and crazy. I'm passionate about birth issues, particularly traumatic birth because I think it is one of the hidden crises of our time. I sit on the Board of Directors for the International Cesarean Awareness Network (ICAN), a non-profit organization concerned about maternal and fetal health. I'm a Christ follower, of eclectic "style" (can't really even describe myself well) though I don't live it as well as I wish. I'm also an Emergency Veterinarian, so I'm the person you see when your dog or cat is very ill in the middle of the night. My life is busy crazy but I'd have to say, I'm happy. |
