Introduction	I'm a fifth-generation Oregonian, raised in Portland and with strong family ties to Shady Cove, on the Rogue River in Southern Oregon. I currently live in north Oakland, CA. I also have had for a while strong connections to the Black Rock Desert and the city that blooms there once a year.
Interests	changing the world for the better, and being entertained and entertaining in the process.
Favorite Movies	Hmm. Depends on the evening. And the format. And the company. I don't like to play favorites.
Favorite Music	Music that moves me. If I'm the D.J., my favorite music is whatever is moving me right now. If somebody else is the D.J., I hope they're a good selector. :-) OK, you fooking abstractionist, you say, can you give me a little hint? Favorite Books	...most of them can be found at both the Multnomah County Library and Powell's City of Books. I'm liking Paul Krugman's offerings lately.
