| Introduction | I knit, both out of love for handmade items and love of the craft, but also out of attachment to the past, the importance of DIY culture and because it's just plain fun. I spend more time on Ravelry than I should. I have long been involved in the visual arts, through painting, drawing, video production and other means. Knitting became a part of this for me, as i not only began to understand the artisan nature of the craft, but at the same time it's creative potential. I seek to create knitwear that is both practical and beautiful. In this balance, I feel my artistry is best seen. |

i used to wake up at 6am to watch pokemon. no shit. In my defense, i also road the stationary bike. i was a sad, fat, pokemon obsessed pre-teen.
