Introduction	I am starting my fourteenth year of teaching and my eleventh year at Beauclerc. I graduated from Oakland University, with a BA in mathematics and primary education. I taught third grade for three years in Michigan, while also pursuing my master’s degree through Marygrove College in Detroit, before moving to Florida. During the past several years, I have strived to give my students the best possible third grade experience in a welcoming, nurturing environment, while continually looking for ways to improve and expand my own skills as an educator. In 2013-2014, I was selected by my school as Teacher of the Year.
