| Introduction | Hello, My name is Malika and I have been in the education space for nine years now. I have had experience in designing and implementing English, Social Studies and Science lessons for primary school(Grades 1-6) and four years of experience in a leadership role. I am currently enrolled in the program- MS in Education Teacher Leadership at Walden University. Through this program, I am looking forward to learning more about the evolving landscape in the educational space and exploring diverse ways of teacher effectiveness. In addition to being passionate about the education space, I also enjoy reading, dancing, hiking and traveling. I also love fireworks! A firework goes into the sky, explodes and vanishes. Before you know, its beauty is gone. Its purpose is to shine before it eventually dies. And that is pretty much what our lives are like. We are meant to shine if we give ourselves a chance and put in effort to do so. My blog is just a way of trying to shine brighter, creatively and positively as an educator.
