| Introduction | Being empty-nested doesn't mean being empty or that my calling as a Mom has ended. I'm still Mom - and Wife and Grammie - and my nest is empty; but now I can begin to think differently as to how that nest is to look and feel like from here on out. This is a blog to my 3 - and to all the others who have called me Mom over the years. You may have your own family, new place to call home, and have just begun your flight out into the big wide world, and that's exciting and scary at the same time! Yet, always remember that parents never retire from parenting, and children never cease from needing help or a friend or a recipe, and I'm just a phone call away, and I still love you ..... because I'm still Mom. |
