She attended Florida A&M University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. Her other honors include panelist of the first Young Women’s Leadership Conference for Essence Magazine in Atlanta on How To Brand Yourself for Success and keynote speaker at the 11th Annual Call To Womanhood Conference held in Atlanta.
