| Introduction | I'm a middle-aged mom in not so great shape. I've signed on with two others to ride 500 miles on a bicycle. Check out the ride at www.diantha-thon.org This is the story of that journey. I chose the Raven to represent me because I love the lore associated with the Raven. I will call my bike "Matilda" from the Waltzing M. song. One of my best friends rode across Australia by bike and I drove it. I was in awe of her the full 6 months. She waltzed Dolores a lot farther than 500 miles! In the Aboriginal lore of Australia, Wugan is the name for Raven. |
