Please describe how you could take the peel off an apple all in one go:
With sharp peeler, carefully taking an initial incision (and licking up the juice that will invariably run down your hand), then in one fell spiral taking off the whole lot, throw it over your shoulder (left or right depending on what you ate for breakfast). The letter of the alphabet the pile of peel most resembles will be the initial of your future husband/wife. That's witchcraft for you!
