| Introduction | I am an international student taking U.S Government. Yay. My political influence is based on the ability of government to do its job with quality, effectiveness and efficiency. Thus, I do not have any lingering loyalty for any political party. After taking a short political ideology quiz to see how I compare to the general population, I was sorted into the "Disaffected" group. Mostly because I am critical of both government and business. It doesn't matter if you are a janitor or the president, you have a job to do; do it well. I am usually a very reserved, neutral individual. While I certainly have my opinion, I also respect yours and will gladly indulge in a discussion over any topic as long as we maintain maturity during the conversation. (Continued on "Interests" ↓) |
| Interests | It's a well-known fact that the only reason I am taking this class is because of the graduation requirement. However it still has the ability to affect my GPA. For this reason I will do my best to succeed in class and learn about the government and its activities. While setting up my blog I had the opportunity to take both a civic literacy and current event quiz. To my surprise I did rather well on both achieving a prestigious "Philosopher-King" rank on the civic litereacy quiz and a more modest 6 out of 11 on the other. |
