Introduction	Married woman in my 30's, living in Ireland, finally diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism / Graves Disease in early 2008, after several years in the thyroid wilderness. I had a Total Thyroidectomy at the end of May 2010. The objective of this blog is to jot down my thoughts and experiences as I travel the Thyroid Disease Highway. Addressing the things that confuse me, amuse me, interest me, confound me, distress me...and if just one fellow thyroid sufferer finds this blog helpful in their personal thyroid journey, then all my efforts will not have been wasted.
