| Introduction | I am not giving my real name here because it is an ethical issue to write about the Indian Navy as an insider. My aim is to share, as a woman, what I have learned in these precious years being a part of Indian navy. When I entered as a young (civilian) bride of a dashing officer I remember searching on the internet for some clue about how it is going to be. Nope ! Not a whisper :) So now I've decided to be the one to make it easier for the coming generations of navy wives. Defense life is a class apart, a new and exciting world.
