| Favorite music | I like just about every kind of music except Rap (which I can't stand). I have a passion for Celtic music, but I suppose that come from my Irish and Scottish roots (with a bit of English mixed in). For about five years I sang with a local chorus which also doubled as the Fort Worth Symphony Chorus from time to time, so I have a serious appreciation for classical music as well. (Somehow, it just doesn't seem like Christmas without attending or singing a performance of Handel's Messiah.) Most of the time I listen to light jazz and what is commonly refered to as "lite rock". Growing up in the 70's I like good old classic rock and roll like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, ZZ Top, etc. However, being from Texas, I do listen to (and also enjoy) country music as well, but not the old "twangy" stuff; however, I make an exception for Texas swing like Bob Wills. As I'm sure you've probably guessed by now, my CD collection is quite large, and somewhat eclectic. |
