Introduction	ABOUT THE SITE: www.greenockmortonfc.blogspot.com was created in April 2007. The website is part of the wider blogger network and uses one of their templates for its layout and design. The purpose of the site is to keep fans of Greenock Morton Football Club updated with everything that is happening at the club. The site has no official connection with the club. Therefore, any views or opinions contained within are my own, unless otherwise stated. I decided to create this site because there was no unofficial Morton website concentrating on the latest news coming out of Cappielow. I also thought that it would be a good way to use some of the skills I acquired while getting my honours degree in English and Politics from the University of Strathclyde. greenockmortonfc.blogspot.com is a not-for-profit website run for the fans. ABOUT ME: I attended my first game - a 1-1 draw at home to Partick Thistle - in 1991. However, I only realy started following the club properly in 1995. My all-time favourite Morton player is Derek Lilley and my favourite game would probably be the 2-2 draw with Dundee United in 1996.
