Introduction Hardworking, determined, professional; three words that describe myself as a designer. From an early age I took an interest in art and have stuck with it throughout my adult years. After attending East Carolina University for two years, I transferred to The Living Arts College in Raleigh, North Carolina to pursue my academic goals. I graduated in June 2013 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interactive Media degree. I have experience working with the development and visual design of websites and print designs, as well as two years of marketing experience working alongside others. I am able to develop and execute distinct and compelling design concepts. I thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment. I am also able to adapt to new situations and work effectively to get the job done. Although I have a passion for web design, my interests extend beyond this. I love to help people branding, marketing, and product design. I have experience working with motion graphics and video editing as well. When I’m not designing you can find me hanging out with friends, catching up on a good book, or searching the web for more typography blogs.
Interests I create with one goal in mind; to inspire others. When I create I am able to release emotions and act on feelings I would not be able to act upon otherwise. When others look at my work I want them to feel, the way I feel when I look at other’s works. When I create design pieces I go to another place, trying new things and exploring the way things work dimensionally and in a formal manner. As a graphic designer, I design to solve visual problems as well as to communicate with the customer or client. I create to communicate something specific in a visual and creative manner. I strive to do my best within my field and hope to be at the forefront of creative exploration. I believe that design is the result of deliberate choices, each made to work harmoniously together to create one aesthetically pleasing piece.
