Introduction Composer and pianist, creator of PIANORAMA recordings for acoustic grand piano, "visual piano music for your soul's eyes." From the Flint Hills area of Kansas; studied piano and clarinet, played in bands and orchestras and sang in school choirs; have music degree from UMass in Amherst, MA; am certified third level Reiki practitioner and teacher. Toured as an opening act with Daevid Allen, singing songs about nature and animals - songs inspired by work to restore treaty rights to American Indians in Boston, MA, and Woodstock, NY. Music director/choir director at several churches in the Pacific NW and in New Mexico, and music director for Bloomin’ Actors Children’s Theater in Albuquerque. Played piano at several Nordstrom stores in the Pacific Northwest in the 1980s and 1990s, and for hundreds of events and piano concerts. Watch the world go by from my downtown Santa Barbara apartment balcony when I need to take a break.
Interests Music, people, animals, nature, organic gardening, books, health, healing, free energy, planting trees, clean oceans, tiny houses/green architecture, Waldorf education, homeschooling, the arts, politics, philosophy, intentional communities, and more.
Favorite Movies a few of my favorites in no particular order are: Strictly Ballroom, Baghdad Café, Sleepless in Seattle, Juno, Walk the Line, Phantom of the Opera (2005)
Favorite Music My music, the great composers including Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert, Chopin, Debussy, Satie, and almost all genres of good music.
