| Introduction | I am a Library and Information Science Graduate student from the University of Illinois. We're the number one MLIS school in the U.S and it wasn't a tie this year (2013), YAY!!! This blog is initially being created for a London study abroad trip (reason for the title), but I hope to continue blogging long after this class. I am about to enter the world as a MLIS professional. I really should make blogging a habit. :) |

| Favorite music | Well, right now it's all about Chris Garneau (over, and over, and over again lol), but I still listen to Green Day, Alison Krauss, Hurt, Bright Eyes, and Vivaldi on a fairly regular basis. I have a lot of additional music that I listen to every once in a while, but it's too much to list. The only music I really like from my parents' era is by Phil Ochs. |
| Favorite books | Too many to ever list. Peter Pan is my favorite book of all time. I've read over half of the ALA Banned and Challenged Book List. I love Fantasy in general and a fair amount of Sci Fi. J.M. Berrie, Lloyd Alexander, J.R.R. Tolkien, Sir. Arthur Conan Doyle, and Lucy Maud Montgomery are especially significant authors for me. David Almond is my favorite living author. I also enjoy well written historical fiction, especially war fiction. |

Probably by starting a fire with the embers left behind by the fire-breathing dragon so recently slain.
