March 28, 2009, my best friend Dan and I took our final bike ride; April 5, 2009, Dan was abducted; April 6, 2009, after 10ish years of arthritic pain & other symptoms, I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease; May 1, 2009, Dan's body was recovered from the Mississippi River; February 9, 2010, Dan's case was ruled "accidental death" & was closed; March 12, 2010, my life changed for the better when I started to see a homeopath; December 20, 2011, I graduated from college with a B.S. in journalism & a minor in health

I love the feeling of mud between my toes. In the summer, I refuse to wear socks. I hate it! I wear flip-flops everywhere. At my cabin, I walk around barefoot no matter what, even if that involves walking on the dirt/rocky road!
