| Introduction | I’m the mother of five children – yes, five children who I gave birth to one at a time – all with the same father who is a brilliant saxophone player. We’ve been married for 16 years and we didn’t plan to have five children. It just kept happening. Large families seem to be an anomaly for women of my generation in today’s society, but I think of this as an honor and a privilege to be entrusted with these five precious children.
