|Introduction||Founded in 1998, RMC Water and Environment is an award-winning environmental engineering firm in California. The firm has eight office locations throughout the state and over 100 employees, including engineers, information technology specialists, and scientists. With experience spanning all types of water-related projects, RMC Water and Environment has developed notable expertise in integrated regional water management (IRWM) planning and water recycling.
Beginning in 2003, the firm began working on IRWM efforts with the California Department of Water Resources (CDWR) and local organizations. Since then, it has completed IRWM projects in 20 regions throughout the state. In addition, the firm has executed more than 60 water recycling projects, including serving the state’s four largest cities: Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, and San Diego.
Several RMC projects have earned prestigious national honors. The company has received awards from the American Society for Civil Engineers and the Water Reuse Association, and has also achieved ranking as a top engineering firm by Engineering New-Records and Trenchless Technology Magazine.
