Introduction	Dad moved us to Florida 1975. I loved our time on Guam (1968-1975)and still consider myself an “island girl” at heart: will choose rice over potatoes any day, still take my shoes off at the front door, my favorite scrub tops have tropical prints, favorite flower is plumaria and have been trying for years to get one growing in my yard,and will always pick anywhere that has a beach as my ideal vacation spot. The thing that I'm most proud of is that my own daughters are great moms themselves so I must have done something right. I’ve had an interesting and rewarding career as a microbiologist for a health care system that now owns five hospitals. The only problem with my job is that it cuts into my time doing all the things I really love to do (see interests)My youngest daughter says I know EVERYTHING because I watch Oprah.
Interests	Jewelry making, ballroom dancing,yoga,meditation, reading,alternative medicine, shopping, playing with my grandkids, going to the movies, watching Grey's Anatomy, Nip/Tuck and Dancing with The Stars.
Favorite movies	Forrest Gump, Little Big Man,Parenthood, Rainman
Favorite books	The Good Earth by Pearl Buck, Discover the Power Within You by Eric Butterworth, anything I'm currently reading
