| Introduction | My earliest memories are in my grandfather's workshop in Manchester, England. A Master Carpenter, he instilled in me a strong work ethic, perfectionism and integrity. Through the years, I’ve had the good fortune to work alongside skilled craftsmen of different generations. In more recent years I’ve both worked for a renovation firm and directly for customers. And, have been sharing my skills with those learning the renovation trade. From creating kitchens, bathrooms and basements that match the owner’s vision to building a small bookshelf (I lost a baking bet), I can’t imagine spending my days doing anything other than working with my hands. |
