Introduction	We're Mike & Tami Johnson. Mike is the pastor of a church in Central Oregon and I do medical transcription from our home. Each year the church where Mike serves has a theme. In 2008 it was, "The Biggest Winner: Having a Healthy Body, Soul and Spirit." That began an odyssey for us as by May we were progressing in each area except that one that could be plainly seen - our weight. In June we started a weight-loss program called "Take Shape for Life" featuring "Medifast." Our goal was first and foremost to set an example for the congregation in this area. What it led to was nothing short of a miracle. By the end of the year, we had lost a combined 200 lbs. These blogs are our story. By going back to the earliest, and then scrolling to the present, you can track our journey of weight loss through Mike's journals that he wrote during this time.
