She was Special Advisor, Greek Ministry of National Defence, 2003-2006, and an expert at the General Directorate of Economic Planning and Industrial Development, Greek Ministry of Defence, 2003. She was Resident Specialist at the Defence Analyses Institute, Greek Ministry of Defence, 2000-2003, and Middle East Studies Coordinator, Research Institute for European and American Studies (RIEAS), 2002-2006 (February). She was Researcher, Centre for Mediterranean and Middle East Studies (KEMMES), Institute of International Relations (IIR), 2000-2001, and an Analyst at the Centre for Analysis and Planning, Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 2001. She studied Economics-Business Administration and Middle East Politics and is currently a Ph.D. candidate. Her research interests lie in the Middle East peace process, regional security architectures and Political Islam. She speaks English and Arabic fluently and has a working knowledge of Iranian. |
