About me

Introduction	I am a teacher of Year 3/4 level. My greatest interest is in the effects that increased confidence has on the learning abilities of children. The surging confidence of the pre schooler can already be damaged by a variety of emotional, situational or relational effects by the time the child starts school. The teacher has a responsibility to create a relationship with the child to discover with them their strengths and to provide opportunities for the child to experience success through a variety of learning experiences. The world has opened up for children to view and interact with the world around them and beyond through the internet. Creating a wider perception for who they are within the wider community is an exciting way of helping to build knowledge and confidence.
