Introduction	After getting my B.A. at Southwestern University, a small liberal arts college in the Austin area, I moved to College Station to get my master's at Texas A&M University, with its notoriously conservative undergraduate culture. Let's just say: culture shock. I'm a Victorianist, specializing in Victorian science fiction, fantasy, and fairy tales. I'm also a huge geek, a gamer, and a science fiction acafan.
