| Introduction | I am a first year pre-kindergarten teacher in the city. I have a mixed age group of three and four year olds, and they teach me as much if not more than I teach them everyday! Our early childhood program is Reggio Emilia inspired, which is a great approach, as the students are able to explore, discover, create, and engage in conversations with their teachers and peers. There is so much to learn and discuss about Reggio, play based learning, best practices of teaching and early childhood development. I have been able to get a lot of great insight and ideas with some wonderful teacher and/or parent blogs, so I figured this would be a great way to share what's going on in my classroom and collaborate with others! |
