| Introduction | I am a person who loves people. I adore meeting and getting to know others. Having grown up reading and discussing intellectual ideas, forums for discussion are among my favorite things. I am unashamedly Christian. These days, that requires a definition: I believe that the Bible is without error in its original texts and that God has preserved its integrity; and that the Bible presents the one, true God and His Son Jesus as holy, perfect and sovereign; and that all humankind is welcome at God's throne through the redemptive work of Jesus, who atoned for our sin on the cross. The Bible teaches that God accepts us just as we are, but that He loves us too much to leave us that way. Not everything I write will be theological, but everything I write comes from the heart and mind of one redeemed and re-born, of the Spirit. |
