About me

Introduction	I am a journalist. I was born in Jamaica, my mother's country, and later joined my father, who was Egyptian, in Cairo. In between I completed my schooling in Britain and went on to university there. I spent my working life in radio, TV and newspaper journalism, in the Middle East - in Egypt, Oman and Dubai. I love cooking, gardening, swimming, poetry and listening to Cuban, Spanish and Arabic music.
